Five things to ask when you call
- Is there a room on your dates, and does the rate include tax and breakfast?
- Does it have a window, which way does it face, double or twin?
- Check-in and check-out times; can they hold luggage?
- How much deposit, into whose account, and the cancellation terms.
- Parking and airport transfers.
Pay the right account and avoid fake pages
Scammers set up fake hotel pages, advertise cheap rates and ask for deposits into personal accounts. Call the property's published number to confirm before paying. Read hotel booking scams.
New ward names since 2025
Vietnam has reorganised into 34 provinces and cities and removed the district level, so many familiar areas now have new ward names. The finder uses the new names; if you cannot find an old one, choose the province and type the area name.
